Hello,

My question (questions, rather) to everyone involves Dementia.

For those who pratice, do you think it is ethical to practice
acupuncture on someone with dementia? What I mean is, if you aren't
able to consent to dementia, should it be done?

My second question is CAN acupuncture be done on someone with
dementia? Assuming they are at a stage where they may not be able to
understand what is being done to them, and they may not be able to
sit still (my grandmother fought to rip out her IV and leave the
hospital for most of the time she was there), is it wise?

Lastly, has anyone attempted to treat dementia? Has it been
successful? What points would you recommend?

I apologize if I sound like a novice to the subject; I am. =)

Cheers,
Chris
