It has Fall Potpourri in it, a spicy smell. One of my staff members Phyllis made it for use on our Dementia unit. The residents can flip the top and with a gentle squeeze they smell autumn scents. I made a red and green filled one and even added a few jingle bells to it. The screw on lids are glued on tight with superglue. The flip tops are the only part that opens, so the potpourri stays inside the bottle! I call the red and green one Christmas in a bottle! :) More cognitively gifted residents can make them as a project decorating the bottles in any way they like. Card fronts fit on certain bottles. Stay on the look out for interesting bottles for this project. I think the one pictured is a Dawn dish detergent bottle.
