Well Gang,
At 4 this afternoon, Yahoo confirmed it is 102, and we have another two hours to go to reach our high today. Don't anybody get the idea we like this weather, as last Winter everyone was crying out for Hot Summer Weather then, in 2 feet of snow, lol. This isn't why I moved here, it was to escape the heat, which for 20 years I did. Global Warming, tell me it isn't happening right now, as Barrow Alaska is having this heat wave as well, and that's way above the Artic Circle. All of this weather if from a High Pressure System coming out of California, which is proof yet that California is full of Hot Air, lol. What I would give right now to work, or live in a Ice Factory.

Hey Gang, I'm going through a "Heat Wave" here in one of the Coolest Parts of the Country, the Seattle Area, where today we are breaking all the records for "HOT" today, as it's now 98 Degrees Fahrenheit, and climbing, as we peg out usually around 5 or 6 at night here. This morning at 6, it was 78 Degrees, which normally it's 58 to 60 Degrees at that hour. They forecasted 101 for today, which we are looking at having hot weather here until Sunday, when this hopefully breaks. But originally I'm from Central Illinois, where staying dry is impossible in heat like this back there, as I remember times when you just showered and you couldn't dry off if your life depended on it, as the sweat just poured out of you. I had a 6 month stint with living in Klamath Falls Oregon, which is High Dessert Country, believe me, locals distinguished that if you mentioned that this was just plain Dessert, oh no, it was High Dessert, meaning that at night it got down to Freezing, even in the middle of Summer, you could wake up with frost in the mornings, and fry an egg on your car, or in your car by Noon. But that was a Dry Heat, which is far better than Illinois' Humid Heat, which you feel trapped in a Sana or Steam Bath back there in that heat. Here in Western Washington, it's Humid, but not like Illinois, as you don't feel, or have, the sweat pouring off of you, but if you're wearing clothing, you'll notice it under the arms, or at the waist, if you tuck in your shirt. It's hot here right now, and if you think you can avoid it with a car ride, no can do, as that air is hot too, so venting it with all the windows down is like aiming a hair drier on you, lol. But for the fun of it, call out, let's hear how hot it is where you live today, as you might be in the coldest place in the country right now, even if it's 78 degrees, lol. Rob Tille
