I just saw this last night, the movie "Marley and Me", and found it to be a great movie. For those who haven't seen it, understand, it's not a feel good movie, but one that is traditional with, Old Yeller, or The Biscuit Eater, as it's a very real story of a couple that starts out with a dog, and ends up with a family member. The last part of the movie, is difficult, to say the least, if you are a pet owner, and have had pets pass on, or similar situations, then this will be a 3 Kleenex Box Movie. For those who don't deal with, or haven't had pets yet, probably a 1 Kleenex Box Movie. But I found it to be so realistic, as we own a lab, who's going through some very rough times himself, as we have had him on the brink of deaths edge, and back, so this was difficult to say the least for us. But it reminded me of Gremlins, as when it opened Christmas Day, back in the 80's, we got the last 2 seats in the theater. Halfway through the movie, as you all know what happened next, we found that any seat in the house was available to us, lol. Well this is sort of like that, except it's not Monsters, it's just a dogs life with his family. But FYI, it will make you cry.
