Hi Everyone!
Thank you all for being a part of our Achondroplastic Dwarfism support
group. I hope you received my previous message introducing CarePlace
and have had an opportunity to visit what I hope will be our new home.
A bunch of your fellow members are over at
http://www.careplace.com/Achondroplastic_Dwarfism/dhsn trying out our
new community.
CarePlace is an online support community where you can find new
friends and chat in real-time with one another. You can also create
your own webpage, online journal, or group (for something specific
like "Moms living with Achondroplastic Dwarfism"), and so much more!
We can all still post messages and email each other like we have been.
Our Yahoo group isn't going anywhere, don't worry! I'd love for
everyone to join CarePlace, look around, and think about the amazing
new home we could build together. Please reply to this message to let
everyone know your thoughts. The CarePlace team is excited to start
working on stuff that we think would help us! A month ago I asked for
Live Chat and it's already there. And they are working on lots of
other stuff right now that I thought everyone would like!
To visit our CarePlace community, go to:

My nickname at CarePlace is "DHughes" -- please look me up. I look
forward to seeing you there!
Warm regards,
David Hughes
P.S. If you don't know me, I started this Yahoo group so that people
coping with Achondroplastic Dwarfism could support and share with one
another. I started my first group several years ago when we
discovered that our two boys were born with a rare genetic disorder
called ATR-X. I was desperate for support and information and
realized that millions of others living with rare disorders must be
looking for the same thing. Since then, I've started over 600 groups
that now serve over 50,000 members.
