Union Pacific Steam Engine #844 Coming To Seattle   Message List

Gang,

Rob Tille here, I don't normally post any of my railroad additions in my Dwarfism Groups, very often, but this is a once in a life time happening in May 2007. I heavily suggest that if you have a Father, Grandfather, Children, Grandchildren, or You just want an excuse to go see history that is still in the making, and running, go see this Live Steam Locomotive, as it was last rolled out towards Boise, Hinkel, The Dalles, Tacoma-Fife, Nampa, Pocatello, over 25 years ago. This is a must see, as your size doesn't matter to enjoy railroading, especially when it comes to seeing this monstrous steam locomotive that the Union Pacific is still running.
But I just got this email today, from a friend of mine who is in my train club, who had gotten an email last night, from another club member, who had stated that he just had seen Steve Lee, who is employed with the Union Pacific Railroad, and is the Division Head of their still active, "Steam Operations", as he was seen in Tacoma, on February 27, 2007, during the morning hours, and was checking things out in the Union Pacific Tacoma Yard.
Our friend wasn't able to speak with Mr. Lee, as he left before our friend could talk to him, but from the other Union Pacific employees there, he was able to find out that the Union Pacific Locomotive #844 is expected to be visiting the Boise, Seattle, Portland Areas.
