This is a glimpse of the power that is in the Millennium game.

Drs. Eric Pepper and Kenneth Pelletier collected over 400 cases of
spontaneous remission from cancer and constructed a bibliography,
listing the sources and backgrounds of such occurrences.

Spontaneous remission, one of those magic terms used by the medical profession,
may be translated to "all of a sudden this disease went away and they have no
idea why, and they didn't seem to do anything to make it go away based on their
treatment.

Drs Elmer and Alyce Green examined the 400 cases in spontaneous
remission and found only one factor common to each case. Something
that when said, would apply to all 400 cases.

ALL 400 PEOPLE HAD CHANGED THEIR THINKING PRIOR TO THEIR REMISSION.

The medical profession falls short in explaining this. The questions
I ask are, "What did these people change their thinking from? What did they
change their thinking to and how did this come about?."

It is the seven negative human emotions common to us all that they changed their
thinking from.

Cell biologist and psychologist Joan Borysenko, in her book " Minding
the Body, Mending the Mind" (Addison-Wesley Publishing Co., Inc.),
reports cases of persons that suffer multiple personalities, having diabetes in
one of these personalities while being free of diabetes when in their other
personalities.

Hi Sonya,

I don't remember reading anything about golden seal being used for drug
dependency, but who knows?

The list of what i don't know is infinitely greater than the list of what I know
a little bit about......

I was thinking about golden seal because of it's topical antiobiotic properties.
It contains a
compound called berberine that has known antibiotic effects...and as such may
help with the heliobactyr infection in the stomach lining.

As to fibroids, it seems to me that I read some things about that a long time
ago and there was often too much estrogen in relation to the progesterin but it
was so long ago and I am probably both simplifying and forgetting MUCH.

i RECALL them talking about the use of one herb..that was considered to be a
sexual adaptogen... or one that was supposed to balance out the various hormone
levels.I am strrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrretching my memory to try to
remember the name... Chaste Berry, that is it...but it had another name.. that I
am trying to remember.. let me try to look it up...

ahhh vitex... look up vitex and chasteberry in relation to fibroids.

I have alwo read about a lot of women being effected by various estrogenic
compounds in the environment... including pesticides.. so that may also be a
good avenue to research.

please don't hesitate to write if I can search out more info for you. Mike
michaelpault@...

now I have a hunch or two and will try to find ou t a bit more for you on the
fibrocystic data. M

Funny you should say all of this. JUST LAST MONTH I started on my journey to
health using “natural health” and I like it. I haven’t seen the results…
but I know it’s going to be good for me. I can take the pills without feeling
“sick” like synthetic medicine makes me feel. Thankfully I have no
‘real” issues outside of the ulcers… I would like the check out the info
you have provided. I haven’t tried the Plantain yet.. I see them in the
farmers markets here.. but I have never purchased one… I may have to do that

Michael I thought “golden seal” was for “drug addicted persons” can you
please expound MORE on that and its natural sure/help. I may be misinformed and
I apologize for any offense. I was just wondering as I have never heard it could
be used in any other context.

Can anyone expound on “fibrocystic ovarian/uterine” tumors for me please..
what do you know???any natural remedies. Michael if you have time can you look
up some info and help me out... thanks

Sonya,

I was thinking about the ulcer challenge. Here are a few things I'd suggest that
you put some study time into that may well help you.

1. zinc supplementation for ulcers.... see study done at Pert hospital
Australia.

2. Licorice may be helpful but I would be very cautious about it's use if you
have any hypertension as it may increase that through a mechanism called the
"aldosterone effect"..

3.Plantain.. .it's a type of bannana used in India... but available in the US...
a preripened one is
cut, dried and powdered...and some powder is taken daily. This is an approach
used in India for a very long time.. in the Ayurvedic medicine system.

4. An herb like golden seal may be helpful because of it's antibiotic effects,
as WELL OVER half of all ulcers are thought to be caused by a bacterial
infection from a bug called the heli bactyr. aka campelo bactyr. ( sp?)

research them... talk to the pharmacist to make sure there are no safety issues
with pre existing conditions or med interactions and make an informed decision..

personally I like the conservative approach to natural health care/self care...
always start with a little of something new to see how YOU react to these new
things... just to be safe

Hopefully you no longer need this info but it's good to know anyway.. ;)

I thought this was good info to share

“YUMMY BANANAS"

A professor at CCNY for a physiological psych class told his class about
bananas. He said the expression "going bananas" is from the effects of bananas
on the brain. Read on:

Never, put your banana in the refrigerator! !!
This is interesting.
After reading this, you'll never look at a banana in the same way again.

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined
with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of
energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous
90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's
leading athletes.

But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help
overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it
a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people
suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is
because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts
into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make
you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana.. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates
blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia : High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the
blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet
low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food
and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official
claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school ( England ) were
helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and
lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the
potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert..

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore
normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to
laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana
milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help
of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and
re-hydrates your system.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer
from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar
levels up and avoid morning sickness

Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the
affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly
successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found
pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips....
Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more
likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid
panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by
snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady..

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders
because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be
eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes
over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that
can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In
Thailand , for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born
with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they
contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.

Smoking &Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking.
The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them,
help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends
oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance.. When we are
stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These
can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes: According to research in The New England Journal of Medicine, eating
bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as
much as 40%!

Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a
wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side
out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an
apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the
phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and
minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around
So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a
day keeps the doctor away!"

PASS IT ON TO YOUR FRIENDS
PS: Bananas must be the reason monkeys are so happy all the time! I will add one
here; want a quick shine on our shoes?? Take the INSIDE of the banana skin, and
rub directly on the shoe...polish with dry cloth. Amazing fruit !!!

Someone familiar with AA shared the following with me and I now share it with
you. Hope it answers your question. If the links don't work here you can do
your own research using the information available. ~A

The Circle and Triangle in AA
{ Service / Unity / Recovery are on the 3 lines of the triangle } the brackets
are mine, the AA triangle is not ' Officially ' used anymore
Overview/Background
The triangle in a circle design was used by Alcoholics Anonymous as a logo on
their literature for many years, but the use of this logo came into controversy
in the late 1980s and was stopped soon after. Click here for a good overview of
how and why the practice stopped. This summary was written by a person who
served as Delegate during that period.

Use of this design has not been exclusive to AA, for example this centuries old
building used it as part of its dome. See also the comment provided by
contributor Mitchell.

Early Policies
As described in the summary mentioned above, prior to the late 1980s AAWS
commonly allowed jewelry and trinket sellers to use the circle and triangle
design for their products.

Supporting evidence for this description of AAWS policy can be found on the
first page of the Legal Review, specifically the comments regarding exhibits 001
and 005.

Things Change
In late 1988, AAWS filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to
register a number of trademarks and service marks. The registrations were
completed by September and October of 1989. You may view copies of the US PTO
documents issued to AAWS here.

The Finance section of Quarterly reports from GSO in 1988 indicated that legal
activities were underway, reporting that legal expenses were more extensive than
expected and that legal action was to be taken with respect to trademarks.

Although there is no supporting evidence presented here, it is believed that
during this time period AAWS was also actively pursuing their requests for
medallion and other trinket companies to cease using the circle and triangle
logos.

AA Goes to Court
Early in the summer of 1990, AAWS filed suit to force Frames of Mind to cease
using the circle and triangle design on their products. AAWS also asked to have
the defendants pay all court costs and tripled damages. The Complaint filed with
the court can be viewed here.

Additional trial documents can be viewed here:
First InterrogatoriesNotice to ProduceLetter to DefendantThe Court stipulation
of the settlement agreement

Some of the expense of this litigation was reported by GSO in an August 1990
Quarterly Report. As the case was not settled until late July, it is likely this
figure did not reflect the complete costs.

Late in July, 1990 this first trial resulted in a Settlement Agreement which
required Frames of Mind to have AAWS approve all medallion designs. Some of the
approved designs are presented here.

Additional Litigation
Subsequent to the settlement presented above, more legal activity occurred. The
result of a 1992 court case was that AAWS lost the right to approve designs for
Frames of Minds' medallions. Although the court documents are not presented
here, evidence supporting this conclusion can be seen in the Review of Legal
Documents. Look specifically for the reference to the order by Judge Conboy as
Exhibit 2.

Subsequent AAWS/GSB Policy
In a series of memos and a Box 459 article, AAWS communicated to the Fellowship
the changed policy regarding the circle and triangle. The most recent document
regarding AAWS policy in this matter is the AAWS Policy on Identifying Marks and
Copyrights, formulated in 1994.

Currently, records at the US PTO indicate that in 1996 AAWS cancelled their
rights to all service marks for circle and triangle designs, as well as the
trademark for the AA circle and triangle. The trademarks for the plain circle
and triangle, as well as for the designs bearing the text "General Service
Conference" and "Recovery, Unity, Service" are all still active and assigned to
AAWS.

"No words can tell of the loneliness and despair I found in that bitter morass
of self-pity. Quicksand stretched around me in all directions. I had met my
match. I had been overwhelmed. Alcohol was my master.

Trembling, I stepped from the hospital a broken man. Fear sobered me for a bit.
Then came the insidious insanity of that first drink, and on Armistice Day 1934,
I was off again. Everyone became resigned to the certainty that I would have to
be shut up somewhere, or would stumble along to a miserable end. How dark it is
before the dawn! In reality that was the beginning of my last debauch. I was
soon to be catapulted into what I like to call the fourth dimension of
existence. I was to know happiness, peace, and usefulness, in a way of life that
is incredibly more wonderful as time passes."

3.Plantain...it's a type of bannana used in India... but available in the US...
a preripened one is
cut, dried and powdered...and some powder is taken daily.

Hello group!

AAA has what you could call their main symbol. It is a triangle in a circle.

I first became aware of this when I had the pleasure of seeing a copy, of the
biography of the founder of AAA. Unfortanetly I didn't get to read it.

My question is, "What does this symbol stand for? What does it mean?

Not sure of the author but it was a good read for me...Sonya

One Flaw In Women

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.

Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Please pass this along to all your
women friends and relatives to remind them just
how amazing they are

Funny Thoughts

1. Gardening Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a
weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground
easily, it is a valuable plant.

2. The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a
replacement.

3. Life is sexually transmitted.

4. An unbreakable toy is useful for breaking other toys.

5. Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

6. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

7. All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to
criticism.

8. Get the last word in: Apologize.

9. How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole
box to start a campfire?

The banana calms the stomach and, with the help
of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and

wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side
out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an

HOW THE BIG BOOK DESCRIBES SOBRIETY

From a trembling, despairing, nervous wreck, had emerged a man brimming
over with self-reliance and contentment.
page XXXI, paragraph 2, line 12
His alcoholic problem was so complex, and his depression so great...
...he is as fine a specimen of manhood as one could wish to meet.
   page XXXI, paragraph 4
...catapulted into what I like to call the fourth dimension of existence. I
was to know happiness, peace, and usefulness, in a way of life that is
incredibly more wonderful as time passes.
   page 8, paragraph 2, line 9
...my friend was much more than inwardly reorganized. He was on a different
footing. His roots grasped a new soil.
   page 11, paragraph 6
Scales of pride and prejudice fell from my eyes. A new world came into
view.
   page 12, paragraph 5, line 3
...I would enter upon a new relationship with my Creator; that I would have
the elements of a way of living which answered all my problems.
   page 13, paragraph 5
These were revolutionary and drastic proposals, but the moment I fully
accepted them, the effect was electric. There was a sense of victory, followed
by such a peace and serenity as I had never known. There was utter confidence. I
felt lifted up, as though the great clean wind of a mountain top blew through
and through.
   page 14, paragraph 2
We commenced to make many fast friends and a fellowship has grown up among
us of which it is a wonderful thing to feel a part. The joy of living we really
have, even under pressure and difficulty. I have seen hundreds of families set
their feet in the path that really goes somewhere; have seen the most impossible
domestic situations righted; feuds and bitterness of all sorts wiped out. I have
seen men come out of asylums and resume a vital place in the lives of their
families and communities. Business and professional men have regained their
standing. There is scarcely any form of trouble and misery which has not been
overcome among us.
   page 15, paragraph 2
There is, however, a vast amount of fun about it all.
   page 16, paragraph 2
Most of us feel we need look no further for Utopia. We have it with us
right here and now.
   page 16, paragraph 3
I have since been brought into a way of living infinitely more satisfying
and, I hope, more useful than the life I lived before. My old manner of life was
by no means a bad one, but I would not exchange its best moments for the worst I
have now. I would not go back to it even if I could."
   page 42, paragraph 3, line 2
....we began to be possessed of a new sense of power and direction...
   page 46, paragraph 2, line 7
...there has been a revolutionary change in their way of living and
thinking. In the face of collapse and despair, in the face of the total failure
of their human resources, they found that a new power, peace, happiness, and
sense of direction flowed into them.
   page 50, paragraph 4, line 5
We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret
the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity
and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will
see how our experience can benefit others. That feeling of uselessness and
self-pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain
interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and
outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and of economic insecurity will
leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle
us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for
ourselves.
   page 83, paragraph 4, line 3
We feel as though we had been placed in a position of neutrality-- safe and
protected.
   page 84, paragraph 3, line 10
...we have begun to sense the flow of His Spirit into us. To some extent we
have become God-conscious. We have begun to develop this vital sixth sense.
   page 85, paragraph 2, line 4
Life will take on new meaning. To watch people recover, to see them help
others, to watch loneliness vanish, to see a fellowship grow up about you, to
have a host of friends...
   page 89, paragraph 2
...remarkable things will happen. When we look back, we realize that the
things which came to us when we put ourselves in God’s hands were better than
anything we could have planned.
   page 100, paragraph 1, line 2
...you will presently live in a new and wonderful world, no matter what
your present circumstances!
   page 100, paragraph 1, line 7
...will awaken to a new sense of responsibility for others.
   page 119, paragraph 2, line 7
Inevitably your lives will be fuller for doing so. You will lose the old
life to find one much better.
   page 119, paragraph 2, line 10
...you will find release from care, boredom and worry. Your imagination
will be fired. Life will mean something at last. The most satisfactory years of
your existence lie ahead.
   page 152, paragraph 2, line 3
...you will know what it means to give of yourself that others may survive
and rediscover life. You will learn the full meaning of "Love thy neighbor as
thy self."
   page 152, paragraph 4, line 10
...become happy, respected, and useful once more.

Simple humor.....

After years of scrimping and saving, a husband told his wife the good news:
"Honey, we've finally saved enough money to buy what we started saving for in
1979."
"You mean a brand-new Cadillac?" she asked eagerly.
"No," said the husband, "a 1979 Cadillac."

The ninety-five year old woman at the nursing home received a visit from one
of her fellow church members.
"How are you feeling?" the visitor asked.
"Oh," said the lady, "I'm just worried sick!"
"What are you worried about, dear?" her friend asked. "You look like you're
in good health. They are taking care of you, aren't they?"
"Yes, they are taking very good care of me."
"Are you in any pain?" she asked.
"No, I have never had a pain in my life."
"Well, what are you worried about?" her friend asked again.
The lady leaned back in her rocking chair and slowly explained her major
worry.
"Every close friend I ever had has already died and gone on to heaven. I'm
afraid they're all wondering where I went."

A little girl was fascinated when her grandfather took out his false teeth and
began brushing them. She asked him to remove his teeth again. She stood there
amazed, then demanded, 'Now, take off your nose.'

I THOUGHT THAT YOU MIGHT BE HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT I'VE DONE TODAY.

ABOUT 5 MINUTES AGO, I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR CONGRESSMAN KING OF IOWA. IN THE
MESSAGE, I ASKED THAT HE NOMINATE OFFICER MUNLEY
TO BE A RECIPIENT OF THE CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR.

SHE IS A TRUE AND RARE HERO...IN THE MOST HONEST SENSE OF THE WORD.

SHE PUT HER LIFE ON THE LINE FOR OTHERS, AND HER SELFLESS COURAGE HAS PRESERVED
PRICELESS LIVES.. PROBABLY MANY.

I AM HOPING THAT CONGRESSMAN WILL HONOR MY REQUEST AND
NOMINATE THIS WOMAN FOR THIS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT SHE
SO RICHLY DESERVES.

I WILL BE SENDING A COPY OF THIS NOTE TO SEVERAL PLACES TODAY...TO BE READ BY

I have been working on a stress management technique that I haven't quite
finished with yet but it works so well for me I have to tell you about it. I
appeal to the child in you! We are going to string a neckless. Now men, don't
worry, no one will see you where you will ware it. Stay with us!

Sit in your most comfortable chair and get comfortable. Take a few deep breaths
and when you are good and relaxed, think of the funniest thing you ever saw.
Think about it again and this time try to pin point exactly what part of it you
find so funny. Now think about it once more this time seeing it! If you are
not already laughing you better see a doctor.

This funniest thing you ever saw is the first bead to your neckless. String it
and ware it! Do this until your neckless holds seven beads. Take your time!
There is no rush!

Evan before I had strung my second bead I had a bad mood swing. I went into my
bedroom and reached for my neckless and in moments I was doubled over with
laughter. After I had gathered myself I went about my day filled with
endorphin. It's true! Laughter is a medicine!

To night while sitting at my computer, I found my forth bead. I started roaring
with laughter! My son walked up to me and asked, "What's going on dad?" I said
, "I'm working on a stress management technique." and again broke out in roaring
laughter while still thinking of my forth bead.

This technique serves me well in another area. When I am put in a position by
another person that arouses negative emotion in me I grab for my beads. They
just can't understand why I am suddenly laughing. Doing this has produced some
strange effects. I never tell them! I say, Oh nothing as I continue to laugh!

One last thing. Don't try this in church or you might be in trouble!
