Hi Everyone...

I am Joyce and I live in Seattle...I have 2 courses of Accutane, one
in my early twenties and one in my late twenties/early thirties, I am
now approaching late thirties. I hated the chapped lips, but got
through them relatively problem free and had virtually no break out
during my dormant period...well, now I am breaking out once again.
Is there any effective treatment short of another Accutane treatment
that anyone has found helpful? I am VERY frustrated as I am sure
everyone here can imagine. I have been going to a dermatologist near
my office, but they seem like witch doctors, not wanting to really
solve my problems plus giving me creams, etc., that they make
themselves. In addition to thier "special" creams they are giving me
something called Erythromycin liquid plus metronigazole cream.
Ironically enough I remember my antibiotic treatment in my teens and
Erythomycin was completely inneffective and ended up using
Tetracyline for over ten years. Anyway, I am looking for answers
short of a third Accutane treatment, but will do if it necessary.
I am also worried about potential liver damaage of a third treatment
of Accutane. Any suggestion would be welcome.
