This group has been started by Don Krebs, owner of Access to Recreation, in an effort to let others know that there is life after a spinal cord or other disabling injury or condition. Don was injured over 30-years ago in a water skiing accident and found himself a quad bound to a wheelchair but refused to be bound to his home. While searching for answers for himself he found he could find answers for others who like him want more from life. This group forum was created because he wants to continue to share ideas and solutions and knows that others also have some great ideas.
Therefore, this group represents a set of individuals that want to find answers to their questions while sharing their own knowledge of resources that may help another that is struggling. When we pool our thoughts and energies - we are stronger. It is important to know that we are not alone in our struggles or in our triumphs, there are others that have walked in our tired shoes and rolled on the same wheels.
