If you are interested in learning more about therapy dogs or visitation dogs and you are not currently working or researching in this field, please try an egroup that is more oriented for beginners in this field and check back with us later on. Some examples of people involved in AAP include: counselors, physical therapists, recreational therapists, educators, occupational therapists, nurses, researchers, and others.

This egroup makes a distinction between AAA (Animal Assisted Activities) and AAT (Animal Assisted Therapy). Our discussions include such things as case studies, legislation, registries, training, insurance, and other current topics.
