AAIndya is a email-forum of recovering A.A.'s.
Our Primary purpose is to stay sober and help other
Alcoholics achieve sobriety. Members of A.A. or anyone
who has a desire to stop drinking can become a member.
This group was formed by Indian A.A.s and those living
abroad. Soon after it became an A.A. group open to all
alkies worldwide.

Even though we are a Yahoo group, we adhere to the
established guidelines of A.A. for Online Groups and
therefore do not claim 'Group Status' to A.A. within that
framework. We however, endeavour to keep up to the spirit
of the Steps, Traditions & Concepts as they are enumerated
in the A.A. Program.

Sharing is based on one's personal Experience, Strength and Hope [ESH].

Every week, a Topic is posted by the Moderator Team and Members share their ESH on the Topic.

Anyone from Alcoholics Anonymous [A.A.], who wishes to join, may send an eMail to
aaindya-subscribe@yahoogroups.com, giving a brief introduction regarding the disease and date of sobriety [DOS].

If you are a newcomer to A.A., then you are requested to state your desire to stop drinking, along with
a brief introduction of your drinking past.
