Is your only problem driving? I bet it isn't. Anyway, tell me what you can do, as far as driving goes, and what you can't do.
I am sure you know that the answer to the dilemma is exposure therapy along with cognitive. I dare say that what is missing from your
challenge is SUPPORT. Keeping that in mind, please know that I could not drive anywhere. I used to have my mom drive the kids to school, or my husband. I was not the brownie leader, and never took my kids to the mall. Finally, I received support from someone that had walked in my shoes, and that made all the difference in the world. He told me I could do anything I really wanted to do, and made himself available to me, at any time, night or day. All he would say was that he believed in me, and suddenly my self esteem arose, and I took off.
I would like to say to you, Mimi, that I know that you can do anything you put your mind to doing....and it is not just me that is saying that. We have 100's of AIM members who are in recovery, who will tell you that miracles are indeed possible.
Write again, with any particulars and I will try to get people motivated to get on out message line.

new to these groups.
I was hoping to find a bit of support for some driving issues.
