As my therapist would say - Avoidance. I think that everyone with
this phobia (I can't speak about others) has a case of procrastination.
For me many times it has worked out well especially when having to write
a paper. Then when I was working I would usually be late getting into
work. I like the job. The location was good. The boss however was a
PITA. Turns out the company was just as bad. Yes, I gave excuses why I
was late as well, and as you, ones that were not my fault. Then again,
when I tried to be early, it seemed that everything would go wrong and I
would be late again. I did put in my required hours and more though.
If you can, make the task fun. Think about the job, how you can make
it fun, and then do the job making it fun.
