I told you I would write again...and here I am to remind you......Today, April 30th, AIM will be celebrating it's 21st Birthday!! I hope you received an invitation, but on the offchance you did not, please know that it won't be a party without YOU. Please come! It is at 7 o'clock, at Huntington Woods Lutheran Church, 12937 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (between Woodward and Coolidge). Our speaker will be, Stephen Pravel PhD. His topic is "Amplification Anxiety and Catastrophication". We will also be having a raffle, with the main prize being a brand new stereo system (among other things). Tickets will be $1.00.
If this does not entice you, come anyway. It will be fun! You may see people that you have not seen for a long time, or you may even meet a new friend. The main gist of this celebration is recovery! Celebrate because it exists, it's attainable, and we will support you while you are working on it!
