Hi everyone!
Just a little update:
We sold our cottage about a month ago. The purchasers wanted immediate possession, so we had to move everything from the cottage to our house here in Clinton Township. What a mess!!! My basement and garage look like a warehouse.
We found a new home for when we retire. It is in Lexington about 4 houses away from Lake Huron. I really think it is beautiful. It's on a really nice size lot. The subdivision we are in has a club house, nice beach and park area and a lot of activities throughout the year.
We closed on our new home last week Thursday. We won't be moving up there permanently until sometime later next year. Until then we will use it as "a cottage". Jerry got a big rental truck today and we are loading everything into it with the help of our kids and friends. I am getting too old for all this work..lol. We will take the stuff up to the new house tomorrow and unload it. I think we will probably stay up there until Sunday. I can't wait until this is all done! I'm tired!!!!
Wasn't it a gorgeous day today??? I am really happy it didn't rain while we were packing it all up. Hope the weather holds up tomorrow too.
My sister had another baby...a boy named Zachary. I think that makes 31 nieces and nephews for me. My niece had a baby girl, Abigail. My daughter, Jenny, turned 29 today...I can remember when I used to dress her in all those cute little outfits and pigtails. Where does the time go?
