First time on message board----MaryAnn sorry to hear about your husband. I
wish I could come up with someting brillant for you to help your husband he
is a very nice guy , I remember meeting him many years ago at an AIM picnic.
You know him best so I guess you would know what could help him get out of
this back sliding he is in right now.I am sure it is only temporary!!!!I know
being an enabler is not the right way to go, but maybe in the begining he
needs more help then you usually would want to give. I would do just the
opposite of what you are doing right now. You know he is a really good guy,
maybe he just needs lots of love for awhile,extra love.Then whan you see he
is improving you can back off, but I dont think you have to become his
enabler. My prayers are with you always , he must be very hard for you right
now, because what effects your husband also affects you. And it sure puts
alot of pressure on a person when money is short. Ralph is not doing good
with his health problems. It is very hard for both of us, in fact we are
going together on Sun. the 17th, to a seminar for familles with menbers who
have chronic illness and pain. So some how you two have to work together in
