Greetings, All:
I went to the New and Old meeting this morning and I highly recommend
it to anyone in the fellowship. A lot of "oldsters", a number of
folks with a couple of decades of recovery, and enough of us "others"
to fill in the time gaps rather nicely. There was over 800 years of
recovery in the room, and the room was not full. Good solid and
basic principles of how our deal works, what our part is and what our
part is not.
Thank you, York Street, for conceiving of such a meeting. See ya'll
Saturday night. And think ahead for New Year's Eve at the club.....

Howdy Aaron....
As an attendee of that meeting, the chairperson, I think 800 years is a little much.... If there were approximately 35 people at the meeting 800 years would be about 23 years apiece. Ten folks with fifty years each would only be 500 years. There was a lot of sobriety there and next Thursday maybe I'll bring my pocket calculator, or just a sheet of paper and calculate later... All I want is the facts, man. "Keep On Trudging"
