hi,
i'm assuming that your name is cory, going by your username?
first let me welcome you to the group and thanks for answering some of
the messages with questions!
as a new runner like you, you should run every other day. i think three
or four times a week is ok and you can walk or do other forms of
exercises on days you're not running and/or have one rest day where you
do absolutely no exercise. if you run five to seven days a week, you
may risk injuries and overtraining...and this may cause you to burn out
quicker, get bored easily and lose motivation.
also, good job on being able to run three miles thus far. do you have
goals to run longer or is three miles sufficient enough for now?
