Here is the question for this month:

What is personal power? What is its nature and constituents?
Adding a few prepositions gives some inroads to this daunting task.
Power over another, power from others, power from within, power from
above, power from access to resources/knowledge/influence, power
to…?

Any others?

A business consultant named Ischak Adizes came up with the
distinctions of Control, Power and Authority in a corporate setting.
They've been helpful to me as tools of analytical observation.

What is good/bad about personal power?

What are the social cues to hierarchy in your subculture(s)?

What does hierarchy have to do with power? and dare I say it -
submission and dominance?

What do you think/feel/do when you encounter some one with more
power than you? Less?
