thank you very much for your perspectives. Both of your points are so
important and so valid. And this seems to be one of those "meshed"
subjects, where one can start talking about one aspect, but there are
so many "strings" attached to it (male/female energies, manipulation,
beliefs in general, self esteem, etc.)
I have been finding entire "worlds" in quotes along the lines of
"Someone can only make you feel inferior/ hurt you if you let them",
because I noticed how much of what's been giving me "grief" in this
relationship has been my own reaction to what he's been saying rather
than what he actually said. Fine line, as Kimberly pointed out -
definitely keeps things interesting though :) !
