This weekend study was formally announced in the Wilson House Newsletter this week. Here are the details:
On March 14 and 15 of 2009 a number of us will gather for a weekend of study. The subject will be The Sermon on the Mount by Emmet Fox. This text was widely used in early AA and is popular with many AA's today. Dr. Fox's lectures were well attended and had an influence during the formative years of Alcoholics Anonymous. We will study this text together at The Wilson House in East Dorset, VT. This house was the boyhood home of Bill Wilson where he was born behind the bar in the front parlor and raised by his grandparents after his parents split up.
