The next cycle begins on Tuesday September 16th! The details:
There are several Big Book Studies that I have been running for several years now. Here are the details:
1. The study located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bigbookmeeting has more than 2400 members. It is a newsletter style group - each weekday morning at or about8am New York time (Eastern Time Zone) I post the study. In the course of 40 posts over an eight-week period we cover the book from front cover to the end of Dr. Bob's Story, then we start again. We examine the history of AA, the writing style of the book, we examine each of our 12 Steps as presented in the book - it's alot of fun. There is no discussion at this group. Join us for our next cycle!
2. The study located at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BBS_Open_Discussion is an interactive group (you get to comment to other members in the group) with the same daily postings as the larger group but with alot of discussion among the 750+ members.
3. The following groups also receive the Big Book Study postings and have discussion:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/suburbangroup
http://groups.msn.com/HarmonyInRecovery/
http://groups.msn.com/aabeginnersclub/
http://groups.google.com/group/big-book-meeting - our newest group!
At our home page we also tell our members about the weekend Big Book Studies Dave and I conduct around theUSA and Europe . Our last was at Scarborough , England . We’ve been talking with a group about returning to Latrobe , PA - we're still working on a date.
So click on the links I've provided (or copy/paste into your browser window) and follow the steps to becoming a member of one of these studies - we'd love to have you!
