Re: A Question...

I would have to say that the antithesis of living in God's will is
living in our defects - that is to say if we honestly strive to live
a spiritual life then our defects become negligible. Our active
participation is seeking the knowledge of His will for us and the
power to carry that out.

And often we'll here how "powerless over my defects" a member is
when it is really an abdication of responsibility for one's
behavior. It is true, we may indeed be powerless, but what we can do
about them is enlist One who has all power - that one is God, may
you find him now.

Jim

over and over in the same person at a meeeting? I have. It looks
painful.

remove my defects of character...as same as I ask Him to keep me
sober for the day. But I know that my actions and thoughts have to
be constantly re-directed toward that goal in order to work with God
and AA. Right or wrong? I am sincerely listening and want to learn
more.
