Hey everyone…..

Hope everyone is ok! I thought I would drop a line to update on Nathan's
progress plus ask everyone a big favour?

One of the doctors Nathan see's has referred him to a top doctor to observe his
behaviour (this doctor is one that can `diagnose' behaviour problems ie Autism,
ADHD etc) I think he has been referred to her because although his speech &
language suggests that he is not Autistic, he still seem to have many Autistic
behaviour traits! We were given an unofficial diagnoses of Aspersers so I'm
assuming they want to either make it official or discount it!

I received a copy of the letter which has been sent to this doctor, in it, it
describes Nathan very well with all results of the different speech & language
tests Nathan has completed etc and so on

In the letter it mentioned this support group (I always tell medic's of the
wonderful support it offers to mums like me) the letter quoted me saying that
other parents of children with weaver syndrome experience similar behaviour
traits in their children!

If any of you have time, I would truly appreciate it if you could please write a
post about your own experiences regarding your child's behaviour or any
diagnoses they may have received in addition to Weaver Syndrome? Lets be honest,
this site, is the only place in the world where this type of information about
Weaver's and its behaviour traits, can actually be collected and utilised, as
far as I'm aware, there hasn't been any research on this subject because of the
rarity of the disorder?

Can anyone help please?

With Kind Regards
Sandy
