New Member Clay & Janis

__, Hi ev

Hi everyone,

Firstly welcome Clay & Janis & Genevieve - you'll find this forum a great assistance in answering many of the queries we have when our little ones are diagnosed.

Kiera - facebook is a great idea.

Hope everyone is well. Haven't been on this in ages - been away on hols. Now totally depressed due to (1) the big "R" word everytime we turn on the television and (2) our typical crappy Irish weather!

Harry is doing great - he turned three in June and we're very excited that he took his first four independant steps yesterday. He is doing  so well and we are very proud of him. Of course he is ruined by everyone!! Doesn't speak yet but his comprehension is very good and hopefully with ongoing speech & language therapy he will begin soon.

We are due baby No 2 in late Oct so Harry will be very put out at not being the sole centre of attention!! So far scans etc show that everything is fine so we are grateful to that

How did everyone enjoy the summer? I'm still madly in love with Barack!!! - we had Mohammad Ali visit Ireland during the week so if anyone has a direct contact to Pres Obama feel free to send him over to Dublin!!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone is

Siobhan (mum to the gorgeous Harry age 3)
