Hi Selina,
My son does have scoliosis, his is not too bad, they said about a 11% curve, although it is something we keep an eye on. On another group I belong to there are moms who have discussed there experiences with it. One little boy has very bad curve, He required surgery to try to correct it. They put rods in his back. My cousin also had this done about 20 years ago. In the one little boys case, his curve was affecting his breathing and squishing other vital organs....how bad is your sons? What kind of things are they thinking? know how hard it is for us moms to make the decision, I think you are doing great, find out all information you can before you make that decision. Hope all goes well, and please keep me informed as to whats going on.
April
