Hi all,
I am here again, my name is Csilla, Lőrinc's mum from Hungary. We have a new baby, his name is Szilárd, he was born in the end of January. He was big baby, too, 9.2 pounds (Lorinc was 11.3 pounds), but he is free from the syndrome, thanks God. Lőrinc will be 3 years in August, he isn't too good at self-supporting: we have just started the potty training and I must help him by meal. So I am bored rarely :-)
Lőrinc's development is very promising, he plays with more consideration, in the play-school he learns a lot from other children. He loves his little brother very much, he is very kind with him. But he is in the terrible threes: somethimes he is lovely, other times he defy, and allways say 'no'. His developmental delay isn't too serious: he had an exam in the developing institute when he was 26 months, and his performance was assessed between 18-24 months old normal child should perform. The speech was in the lower part of this interval, speech-understanding and social abilities were in the higher part of it. Other fields are spreading between this two point… I worry most about his speech: he speaks only 6-7 simple words, and he was 4 own words, what we can understand exclusively. He speak his own language and display, he bring a lot of things home to us. My question for you: when did your children start speaking in words, when did they start using sentences? I would be happy if you write me about your experiences, and if you could give me some advice.
King regards,
Csilla
