Hello Greta, I remember you posting about the new addition, how many kids do you have now? I have two boys, 12 ADD and 6 Weavers. What kind of meds are they trying? Devon (6) has been on a couple different ones, mostly allergy related, but he has been on mood medications for a couple of years, he has a tendency of loosing control and being aggressive....I know how hard it is to do make the decision of meds. How is Abby doing other wise? Basketball is coming up soon right? And school?
This is Devon's first year kindergarten going full time!! He is doing OK, we have to "modify" his work etc and he has an IEP, does Abby attend a public school, and if so do they modify for her too? Sorry for all the questions...
Our holiday tradition is having a dinner or sometimes a snack tray on Christmas Eve with Ryan's family, Then Christmas Day we go over to my moms for a feast and we all exchange gifts. Your families tradition sounds so great! It is how
we should all be spending this season, unfortunately it has turned so commercial, and all about "giving"...I could go on, but I shouldn't...
Hope to hear from you soon, my private email is ahooburg79@...

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to find out how everyone is doing. We have been trying
to adjust to having a new baby in the house. Abby is doing really
well with her little brother. Since I last wrote Abby had been
diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficet hyperactivity disorder) and put
on medication. She is having problems with the medication making her
very emotional and moody. We are now on a second medicine. Hopefully
it will work. I knew that she was probably going to have to take
medicine one day, but hoped she would be able to handle it better. We
are all excited about Christmas, and have done all the decorations.
One of my favorite holidays is Christmas. We don't do presents,
except for a few for the kids, nothing big. We celebrate birthdays
more with presents. We have a birthday party for baby Jesus with a
birthday cake and balloons. The kids draw birthday cards and we
attach them to the balloons and let them go into the air. We read the
Christmas story, then we paint glass Christmas balls to add to our
tree. This is a wonderful tradition we started with out children, and
they love it. We do too. What is you favorite Christmas tradition?
Love to everyone,
Greta Holmes
