This is the private forum for members of WRAPS, the Wilmington Regional Autism Parent Support Group. We are primarily parents and caregivers to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders/Related disorders from New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick and other counties in Southeastern North Carolina, but also include professionals working to improve services for this population.

The intent of this group is to provide both a better means of communication between members and to more fully support families dealing with the realities of caring for children with autism and related disorders in our community.

I encourage each of you to use this list to ask questions, share your knowledge of community resources, to organize advocacy projects, and to research needs in our community. Please add to the files and links sections anything you feel would be helpful to a parent navigating the system in our tricounty area. Our goal is to have this group ultimately serve as the comprehensive resource for families in our community.
