Radiographers practicing as sonographers in the West Midlands, UK, have joined together to form an action group to discuss problems. The initial meeting on 7th February 2001 attended by 40 sonographers asked what SOR were doing about, poor pay, reporting and training allowances and the increasing prevalence of work related upper limb disorders (WRULD). These issues are now being addressed at local, national and international level.
