The Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) is a nonprofit, tax exempt charity founded in 1999 and based out of Washington D.C. (www.westonaprice.org). The WAPF is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. We support a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies. Some of the Foundation's specific goals include establishment of universal access to clean, certified raw milk and a ban on the use of soy formula for infants.
This local list is focused on these issues in Florida and in particular, the Tampa Bay metro area. Please consider joining us to learn more about what the Weston A. Price Foundation is doing both nationally & locally and how you can participate. The Weston A. Price Foundation is primarily funded through individual memberships, so please consider joining the WAPF if you find the information you obtain from this board helpful.
