I am in the process of having my amalgams removed. I have a lot of them :ideally the work is supposed to be done a quadrent at a time but due to the
expense it has been more like an 8th at a time. The thought of having the
amalgam removed in even one tooth (and letting the tooth heal) amuses me ,
as in my case once the amalgam was removed there would not be enough tooth
left to work with. The ballpark estimate for my mercury removal and dental
work is around $5,000. This includes 6 crowns 2 bridges , the removal of at
least 2 teeth which conventional dentistry would have "saved" with root
canals, and numerous replacement fillings. ( If I had the root canals I
would not need the bridges). Other then follow a WAPF diet I have done no
special detox and I have no idea what my yeast levels are. (My dentist would
like me to follow several detox protocols). The first completed quadrent
left me with 3 restored teeth and 1 extracted molar ( with a bridge to
come). The second with 3 restored and one crown. I have had no problems with
any of the composite fillings. Do I feel better with the work almost halfway
done?? YES!!
I really believe if you remove the source of toxin and feed your body the
foods it needs healing will progress the way it was designed to, but at the
same time I think you would be wise to be realistic. I would not expect to
regenerate one of my damaged teeth anymore then I would expect to regrow a
limb. It is noteworthy that since I have eaten WAPF and stopped using
conventional dental care products there has been NO new decay in my teeth (5
years) and I believe trying to heal a single surface cavity which was not
horribly invasive would be realistic .
I hope this helps !!

"I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies." (Psalm 18:1-3)
