Re: [WAPF-Sacramento] Solano County Products?

Hi Julianne,

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your health, but I think that making a decision to eat good qualify food is a very good one.  Some people do better on lots of raw food than others.  I've heard some folks who have compromised digestion say that they do better on lightly cooked foods than raw foods, at least until they can regain some digestive energy.  So see what kind of feedback your body is giving you as you change your diet.

I don't know much about Solano country sources, but maybe someone else on the list will pop-up with some suggestions for you.

If you can't find kefir grains locally, you can probably mail order an initial set and then just keep it going from there.

Regards,

Carol L.

Subject: [WAPF-Sacramento] Solano County Products?

Hello! I am very ill and trying to recover my health through raw and
pure eating again, which I only started yesterday along with oral
chelation. By chance does anybody know where I can find products such
as raw butter, raw cheese, raw kefir, and raw honey in Solano County
(Vacaville/Fairfiel d)?

I have raw milk, but I have no idea how to get the cream to come to the
top of Goat's Milk, as it seems to be mixed in. Also, where might I
acquire kefir grains locally?

I am totally ignorant, so please forgive me, on where to find products
in our area. I have read your list, but most stores are not local to
me. I forgot to check if Nugget carried the local raw honey when I was
there. I did find some cleaners, make-up, and produce I needed.

Thank you so much. I am open to any ideas and help.

Blessings to you, Julianne

I just realized I should clarify, that when I said raw, I mostly meant unprocessed, unpasteurized foods. I am eating probably 60% raw and 40% cooked currently....

Goat milk is naturally homogenized, i.e., the cream stays in suspension and won't naturally separate. Check out local farmer's markets for raw honey. Just...

Thank you so much Jason for the response. I have heard if I let the milk sit in the fridge for 3 days the cream will come to the top and I can scoop it off put...

Hi Julianne, Raw cheese: Nugget carries some - you have to look but it's there in their speciality cheese section. They carry the Pt. Reyes Blue, one from the...
