I recently received the following message from the Biodynamic Association of
Northern Ca (BDANC). I am interested in placing a minimum order and am looking
for people to split it with. I am in Davis and am willing to drive to
Placerville for pickup, but have very limited freezer space for storage once I
pick it up. I imagine needing to collect coolers from people before heading up
to get it. I haven't thought through all the logistics yet, but am wondering if
anyone on this list would like to go in on an order with me. My extended family
will want around 20-25 of the 125 lbs, but that is flexible.

Below a message from Nancy Poer- they have surplus beef,


From White Feather Ranch near Placerville. Taking orders for 1/4
minimum organic beef to be ready in May. From cattle herd where they
are naturally bred, no anti biotics or hormones, milk fed for first
nine months free range, grass fed (fields sprayed with BD preps) and
fed organic alfalfa in winter months. 1/4 beef will be bout 125
pounds @ $4.50 per pound, cut wrapped and frozen.

Also available feeder calves, some a few months to finish, others
younger.
