Raw milk bill HB1010
PUBLIC HEARING THURSDAY March 15, 2007


Del. Mary Ann Love's bill, HB1010, exempting from regulation sales of
raw milk from producer to the final consumer, will be heard by the
House Health and Government Operations Committee Thursday, March 15
at 1:00 pm. PLEASE COME AND TESTIFY, or simply help fill the room.
Your presence matters more than you would believe!!

ACTIONS:

1. Call, email, and fax (if you haven't already) the members of the
Health and Government Operations Committee to SUPPORT Raw Milk bill
HB1010 (contact info below)

2. Come to the public hearing and testify on HB1010, Thursday, March
15, at 1:00 We especially need doctors and people with dramatic
and/or compelling stories to come testify (you don't have to speak).
(There are others bills that will be heard in the same session. We
do not have an exact time for HB1010)

HB1010. I support legalizing direct producer to consumer sales of
raw milk. The passage of this legislation will create opportunity
for small family farms. It will also give Maryland citizens the
possibility of locally purchasing one of the healthiest foods that
humanity has long relied upon. Thank you for your support."

DIRECTIONS:

From the West,
-Take Route 50 East to the Rowe Blvd South exit (exit #24) toward
Annapolis, and
-stay to the right on the exit ramp. Merge onto MD-70 and follow for
about 1 mile.
-Pass the Navy stadium, cross 435, cross College Bridge, stay in the
left lane and follow to circle.
-Follow parking signs to Main Street. (Maryland Inn is on the corner)
-Continue following parking signs and turn into Noah Hillman Parking
Center.
-Park on any level.

-As you leave the parking garage, go left toward Conduit
-Street. Turn right onto Conduit Street and walk about ten paces
-Turn left onto Main Street and walk about half a block to the circle.
-At the circle, go a short way around (about a block) to the right
and cross School Street.
-At the next opportunity, stay to the right to get onto College
Avenue.
-Once on College Avenue, take the first left (but go to the second
cross walk)
-Follow the sidewalk to the flags and go in the big doors there.
This is the Lowe House Office Building. We will all gather in the
lobby
-of the Lowe House Office Building. There are guards and metal
detectors inside the front entrance.
-The address is Lowe House Office Building 84 College Ave.,
Annapolis, MD 21401 - 1991

All adults must have a photo ID on them to show the guards.
Parking is $1.25 per hour up to $10 for the whole day. You can also
look for street parking or find other garages close by.
Mapquest does not give accurate directions to this since the street
the building is on is under construction right now.
