I am a female who needs some advice for my boyfriend (60 yrs old).
The first time we tried Levitra, he took the full dose and had
horrible consequences...BAD stomache ache, headache, and his face
was flushed bright-red. I told him not to take the full dose, as
one of my friends says it may only take a quarter of the pill to
work, he mistakenly thought the more he took of it, the greater sex
would be. Anyways, he chose not to take Levitra again and we tried
Viagra.

He took the 50mg dose of Viagra, but was only able to partially get
an erection, plus he got another bad stomach ache.

I am thinking that maybe if we cut the dose in half (25mg) then his
stomach might feel better. It sounds like "less is more" with the
ED medication?

My main question is...does it help to take Zantac or Pepcid along
with the ED medications? Does this help the stomach ache? Are the
soft tabs better on the stomach?

Thanks so much to those who reply...it is a hit and miss thing and
he is gun-shy with all the side effects now. I am hoping one of
these time it works so he can have some hope!
