Hey Laura,
Was hoping I'd be there in time for the VSET tonight, but won't be in Knoxville until Tuesday. Coming up for a visit with some friends, and then heading over to Asheville. Looking at land up there in the mountains to do some cob built self sustaining homes on. Hope you and everyone have a wonderful Thankgsiving Celebration. Will be there in Spirit.
Much Love, HBK

also more about tomorrow's dinner, and what I
should expect, the protocol, ect.
Perhaps someone might suggest what I may bring and contribute in theway of cuisine.Well, I need to finish my cooking so I will be brief.Tomorrow will hopefully be the largest veg potluck in East Tennessee celebrating the harvest. (Unless you attend a SDA church - they are veg also.)Be prepared so share a table with friendly folks, tables seat 8-10 - round so it is easy to talk. You can bring any veg/vegan/raw recipe that you enjoy. The variety of all of us is a lot of the fun. Some focus on fall foods, not everyone does.THE stovetops are not working this year at the church, so think of room temperature foods....Soup is a little difficult since the diners would need to carry both a plate and a bowl....It takes a little while to go thru the line, we may have 50 folks on each side of the table serving themselves.I hope this helps.....Laura
Peaceful greetings to one & all,
I joined this group in April of this year. I have enjoyed reading the
very informative posts.I became a vegetarian in June of 2003 and shifted more toward
veganism in January '05 with a slight increase in raw foods more
recently.
I have wanted to join the monthly vegetarian meet and would possibly
like to attend tomorrow's Thanksgiving gathering.
I'm a 50 year old man who has come to embrace a 'path of peace', as
well as a 'path of compassion' to all living creatures. I live alone
and I'm pretty much a solitary here. I've been wanting to attend the
vegetarian dinners and I hope to attend tomorrow.
I was hoping someone might tell me a little more about the monthlyget-togethers, and also more about tomorrow's dinner, and what I
should expect, the protocol, ect.
Perhaps someone might suggest what I may bring and contribute in theway of cuisine.
I'm looking forward to meeting all who attend.
Thank you,~Aryeh
