Got carryout last week, Wed or Thur midafternoon. I got corn
chowder, just because it was the special of the day, and a veggie
burger, just because I've never had Veg-o-Rama's and Laura said it
was homemade. The veggie burger was, indeed, unique, but, imo, not
really better than commercial veggie burgers, just different.
But the chowder was delicious, way more complex than corn chowder
I've had elsewhere. I got the small size, the"cup," and it was
as much as I could eat. So I only had a bite or two of the veggie
burger, saved the rest for supper. I got two ample meals for a little
over $8.
Yours truly,
John Mayer
OK, where is this place? I am going this weekend!!

We ate at Veg-o-rama last night & the food was great. The water is still awful. We suggested buying a reverse osmosis system or 5 gallon jugs of distilled water to serve customers. Please forward to the Vegetarian Society members that we will go often to support Knoxville's first vegetarian restaurant and we encourage others to do the same -- not only because we need it, but also because the food is good and the atmosphere is nice.
