Hello all,

A friend of mine has just opened up a yummy new restaurant in town that has
several vegetarian options. Bruce Bogartz is the chef and one of the two daily
soups is vegetarian, there is always a vegetarian entree, several veggie
appetizers and salads. Bruce is always happy to accomodate special requirements
as well. I ate there twice so far, the first night the veggie entree was a root
vegetable lasagna and the other time it was a vegetarian gumbo served over a
parmesan grits cake. The name of the place is Rouxbarb on Northshore a block
off of Kingston Pike on the left right before the railroad tracks. This place
was the original Bistro by the tracks, and has since been Spooky's, a mexican
restaurant, etc. They are open for dinner (5-10) on Tuesday through Saturday.
It is byob and the phone number is 212-0024 if you want to make a reservation.

He said that he is more than happy to offer the 10% discount toVSET members
(will somebody let me know how to officially get him added to the list?) Also,
it could be fun to have a wed social there and he would make extra veggie and
vegan options that night.
