The Virginia Department of Health, in collaboration with Samaritan
House, Inc. is sponsoring a "Train-the-Trainer: Health Care Response to
Intimate Partner Violence" on May 7, 2009 at Hampton University:
Virginia Beach College. This training is for ALL health care providers,
domestic violence service providers, and any other professionals or
office staff working with/in the health care setting in the region.
This day-long workshop will include case studies and facilitated
discussion, and will certify participants as VDH trainers in the RADAR
method for responding to IPV in the health care setting.
There is no fee for this training, but pre-registration is required. A
