The purpose of this solicitation is to announce the availability of fiscal
year (FY) 2009 funds for (U01) research applications that will help advance
our knowledge of effective strategies for engaging the participation of
fathers and male caregivers in evidence-based parenting programs that may
prevent child maltreatment.
* Approximately $400,000 is expected to be available.
* It is anticipated that two (2) applications will be funded.
* The funding level will not exceed $200,000 (including both
direct and indirect costs) per award per year.
* The funding level will not exceed $600,000 maximum for the
entire project period per award.
* The project period is up to three (3) years.
* The award mechanism is a U01 cooperative agreement.

Preventing Sexual Violence Perpetration: Targeting Modifiable Risk Factors

Identifying Neighborhood Level Protective and Promotive Factors for Youth
