The website for the Division of Injury and Violence Prevention at the
Virginia Department of Health is a wealth of information for those working
to end sexual violence in Virginia. Most likely, you haven't had a chance
to navigate the entire site and view its rich contents. I'd like to help
make sure you know where to look when searching for information on the web
for your work. Every so often, I send out an email that highlights just one
of the features of the VDH site. Hopefully, you will find this helpful.
This month's topic: Event Calendar.
Did you know....
That VDH is offering over a dozen trainings before the fall? In addition,
trainings and workshops offered by other organizations are scheduled. Each
of these dates and short descriptions of the events are on the Event
Calendar. If you are looking to increase your knowledge, train a new staff
member or implement a new program for youth, be sure to come to the Event
Calendar throughout the year to find out what is going on in Virginia.
How to find it...
Go to www.vahealth.org/civp/sexualviolence . On the left hand bar, click on
Event Calendar.
