Sex Trafficking is a widespread form of sexual violence that needs public attention to increase awareness, localized responses, appropriate intervention, and most importantly prevention. As part of a comprehensive strategy for building the movement against modern- day slavery, Polaris Project places great importance on sharing lessons learned, best practices, and local counter-trafficking strategies by providing training, technical assistance, and consulting at the local, national, and international levels. This training will increase participant's awareness of sex trafficking, how and where it occurs, effective prevention and intervention responses, and much more.
