www.vahealth.org/civp/sexualviolence
The website for the Division of Injury and Violence Prevention at the
Virginia Department of Health is a wealth of information for those
working to end sexual violence in Virginia. Most likely, you haven't
had a chance to navigate the entire site and view its rich contents.
I'd like to help make sure you know where to look when searching for
information on the web for your work. Each month, I plan to send out
an email that highlights just one of the features of the VDH site.
Hopefully, you will find this helpful.
This month's topic: Archived List Server Messages
This list server has been in existence for over seven years and has
archived all of its messages over that time. You may view any of the
archived messages from the past week or 6 years ago.
This capability is very helpful if you remember seeing a message about
some training, event or job description, but then you can't find it
in your own email box. Or you may want an excuse to clean out your
own email box and delete all the messages from the VDHsvlist knowing
that you always have access to them in an online repository. Anyone,
whether a member of the list server or not, may view the archived
messages at the site.
To view the archived messages that have been sent out on this VDH list
server, go to the website
www.vahealth.org/civp/sexualviolence and click on "Read the messages
from the VDH list server."
This will bring you to a page that lists recent messages and you have
the opportunity to view all and even search for a specific message.
