www.vahealth.org/civp/sexualviolence
The website for the Division of Injury and Violence Prevention at the
Virginia Department of Health is a wealth of information for those working
to end sexual violence in Virginia. Most likely, you haven't had a chance
to navigate the entire site and view its rich contents. I'd like to help
make sure you know where to look when searching for information on the web
for your work. Each month, I plan to send out an email that highlights just
one of the features of the VDH site. Hopefully, you will find this helpful.
This month's topic: VDH Training events in Virginia and online
Many people on this list have attended a training on sexual violence
sponsored by VDH. Most of these people have found them useful and are
interested in attending another training sponsored by VDH. To view the list
of current trainings sponsored by VDH, go to the website
www.vahealth.org/civp/sexualviolence and click on trainings on the
navigation pane on the left.
This will bring you to a page that lists all of the current trainings
offered by VDH. Most of them are low cost and offer registration online.
Below these events is a list of websites (with a short description) which
offer national online training and other trainings in Virginia.
If you are interested in reviewing the training announcements by date sent
which you have received via this list server, go to
