Educational Resources Coordinator (Posted: 5/10/07)
The Action Alliance is seeking a new Educational Resources Coordinator
to join our team of dedicated staff and members working to improve the
response to sexual and domestic violence statewide.
The primary responsibilities of the position include coordinating a
resource project for rural sexual assault service providers,
developing and distributing resources for Virginia's Sexual and
Domestic Violence Agencies, and assisting with statewide public
awareness initiatives. Please see the job description for specific job

We are looking for a candidate who:
* Is an experienced advocate on behalf of survivors of sexual
and/or domestic violence;
* Enjoys a team working environment that is challenging and rewarding;
* Has the ability to travel as well as a safe driving record;
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills—both written and
verbal; and
* Shares the values reflected in the Action Alliance mission and
guiding principles (available on our web-site).

in either our Richmond or Charlottesville offices. Starting pay for
the position will range from $35k to $39k based on experience and
ability as demonstrated in the application and interview process.
