Job Description:
The Program Support Technician for the Rape Prevention and Education (RPE)
Team at the Division of Injury & Violence Prevention (DIVP) will manage the
work flow of paperwork and administrative procedures within state
regulations; provide specific clerical and program support to program
managers; maintain a central contact database; coordinate routine mailouts
from the resource center; provide meeting and conference coordination; and
provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; considerable
knowledge of general office management; ability to develop considerable
knowledge of the programs being administered, related rules and regulations;
and technical aspects of the subject area. Requires good communication,
customer and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to organize events
and information and resolve problems. Ability to handle multiple tasks and
massive amounts of information.
Special Requirements:
Criminal background check is required. This is a wage position with no
benefits and limited to 1500 hours per year.
