Target Foundation
Program: Family violence prevention grants support groups working to make
individual homes and entire communities safer, such as funding child abuse
counseling programs and shelters. Funding is limited to the communities in
which Target does business.
Award: Grants average between $1,000 and $3,000
Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, schools, or
units of government.

Community Awareness and Outreach Campaign Projects for the Prevention of
Family Violence
US Department of Health & Human Services, Family Violence Prevention and
Services Program/FYSB
Program: This program is to assist in the continual development of outreach
and community awareness campaign projects and activities that provide
information for the prevention of family violence. These projects should
provide information on resources, facilities and service alternatives
available to family violence victims and their dependents, community
organizations, local school districts and individuals seeking assistance.
Award: Total funding amount - $750,000; 5 to 10 grants at $75,000 each
Eligibility: County governments, City or township governments, Native
American Tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American Tribal
organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments),
nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions
of higher education, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the
IRS, other than institutions of higher education
