Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance's "Moving Upstr   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #522 of 873 |

The new issue of the Virginia Sexual & Domestic Violence Action Alliance's primary sexual violence prevention newsletter, "Moving Upstream" can be downloaded in “.pdf” format at:

http://www.vsdvalliance.org/secPublications/newsletters.html

This publication is only published electronically, and new issues are produced 3 times per year. Due to variations in e-mail capacity, we are no longer attaching issues of Moving Upstream to these announcements. Please copy and paste the URL above to your internet browser’s navigation window. You can also download the three previous issues of “Moving Upstream” at the same URL.

This issue includes:

1) Part 2 of an article entitled “Beyond Consent: Healthy Sexuality and Sexual Violence Prevention” and addresses how primary sexual violence prevention efforts can be informed by a healthy sexuality perspective.

2) An article entitled, “Building Access to Schools From the Ground Up” that puts forth one program’s successful framework for implementing their school-based dating violence prevention/awareness curriculum.

3) A recap of Virginia’s RPE contractors’ meeting.

4) A recap of VSDVAA’s recent public policy efforts regarding increased funding for primary SV/IPV prevention initiatives in Virginia.

I hope you enjoy it!

If you wish to be removed from this list, or if you have any problems downloading the issue from our website, please reply to bperry@... (not to the entire list) and I'll take care of it as soon as possible.

Repost this announcement as you see fit!
