HOTLINE/INTAKE COORDINATOR
SAMARITAN HOUSE, VIRGINIA BEACH

Immediate opening for full time Hotline/Intake Coordinator.
Hours are 9-5, Monday through Friday with benefits package. Employee is
responsible for answering the Samaritan House Hotline and screening all
hotline requests for shelter due to domestic violence and homelessness. The
employee also conducts in-depth intake assessments and assigns appropriate
individuals and families to Samaritan House shelter; also conducts needs
assessments over the hotline as well as advocacy, triage, and information
and referrals to callers. Immediate comprehensive response is also made to
callers in immediate danger due to domestic violence. Record keeping also
required, along with effective teamwork.

Experience in the field of domestic violence is preferred.
Salary range: $25,000- 30,000
